This Privacy Policy describes how Bento Grid: Kawaii Kitchen (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the App.

Summary

The App does not require an account and does not collect or store any personally identifiable information on our own servers. Your game progress (coins, stars, unlocked levels, selected palette) is saved locally on your device. The App does use third-party services — described below — that may collect limited technical data, including for advertising purposes.

We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location or any other personal information. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share any data with third parties other than the Google services named in this policy.

How We Handle and Protect Your Data

• Local data is private. Your game progress is saved in the App’s private storage, which other apps cannot read, and the save file is encrypted. It is excluded from device backups.
• Cloud saves are optional. Progress is copied to the cloud only if you sign in with Google Play Games, and it is stored in your own Google account, not on servers of ours.
• Data in transit is encrypted. Data that Google Play Games Services, Google AdMob and Google Play Billing collect is sent directly from your device to Google over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). It never passes through servers of ours, because we do not operate any.
• Purchases are verified securely. Purchase receipts are checked on your device against Google Play’s digital signature. We never see or store payment details.
• Minimal access. The App requests only the permissions it needs to run, show ads and process purchases. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, files or location.
• Third-party security. Data held by Google is protected under Google’s own security practices and Privacy Policy.

Your Choices

• Ad consent: you can review or change your ad consent at any time in the App under Shop → Privacy & Ad Choices.
• Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device’s settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on the device).
• Cloud save: signing in to Google Play Games is optional. You can manage or delete your Play Games data in the Google Play Games app or your Google account.
• Deleting your data: uninstalling the App or clearing its data deletes all game progress stored on your device.

Advertising — Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including rewarded video ads and interstitial ads. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may collect and process data such as:

• Advertising identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID)
• Device identifiers and device information
• IP address and general location information
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

Depending on your consent choices and region (including the EEA and UK), AdMob may serve either personalized or non-personalized ads. Where required by applicable law (such as the GDPR), we present a consent message before showing ads so you can choose whether to allow personalized advertising and data collection for that purpose.

Google Play Games Services

If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, the App uses Google Play Games Services to save your progress to the cloud. This is governed by Google’s own Privacy Policy and Play Games Services Terms.

Google Play Billing

In-app purchases (such as removing ads) are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Google Play. See Google’s Privacy Policy for details on how purchase data is handled.

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information below so we can address it.

Data Retention and Deletion

Locally saved game progress remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data. We do not retain any personal data on our own servers, as we do not operate any. To request deletion of data collected by third-party services described above (such as your Google Advertising ID association), please refer to your device’s ad settings or Google’s own privacy controls.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
