This Privacy Policy describes how Cozy Grind: Cafe Barista (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use the App. The App is published by AFnextgames, based in Ireland.

Summary

The App does not ask you to create an account with us and we do not run any servers of our own. Your progress (coins, places, machines, courses, stock and settings) is saved on your device. If you sign in with Google Play Games, a copy of your progress is also saved in your Google Play Games account so you can continue on another device. The App uses Google services, described below, that may collect limited technical data, including for advertising.

We do not collect your email address, contacts, photos, precise location or any other personal information, and we never receive the copy of your progress held by Google Play Games. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share data with third parties other than the Google services named in this policy.

How We Handle and Protect Your Data

• Local data stays on your device. Your progress is saved in the App’s private storage, which other apps cannot read, and the save file is encrypted with a key tied to your device.
• Cloud save is optional. Progress is only copied to Google Play Games if you sign in. It is stored in your own Google Play Games account under Google’s protection; we cannot read it.
• Data in transit is encrypted. Data sent to Google Play Games, Google AdMob and Google Play Billing goes directly from your device to Google over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). It never passes through servers of ours, because we do not operate any.
• Purchases are verified securely. Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see or store payment details.
• Minimal access. The App only requests the permissions it needs to run, sync your progress and show ads (internet and network status, the advertising ID and, when purchases are offered, Google Play billing). It does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, files or location.
• Third-party security. Data held by Google is protected under Google’s own security practices and Privacy Policy.

Your Choices

• Ad consent: you can review or change your ad consent at any time in the App under Privacy & Ad Choices.
• Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device’s settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on the device).
• Google Play Games: signing in is optional; you can play without it. You can manage or delete your Play Games profile and the data games have saved in it from the Google Play Games app or your Google Account.
• Deleting your data: uninstalling the App or clearing its data deletes the progress stored on your device. To delete the cloud copy, delete this game’s data from your Google Play Games account as above, or contact us and we will explain how.

Advertising — Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to show ads: optional rewarded video ads (which you choose to watch, for example to shorten a wait) and full-screen ads between in-game days. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may collect and process data such as:

• Advertising identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID)
• Device identifiers and device information
• IP address and general location information
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

Depending on your consent choices and region (including the EEA, the UK and some US states), AdMob may serve personalised or non-personalised ads. Where required by law (such as the GDPR), we show a consent message before ads so you can choose whether to allow personalised advertising.

Google Play Games Services

Sign-in and cloud save use Google Play Games Services. When you sign in, Google shares your Play Games player ID and display name with the App so it can load and save your progress in your account. See Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Play Games Services terms.

Google Play Billing

In-app purchases (such as removing the ads between days), when offered, are processed through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details; these are handled entirely by Google Play.

Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information below so we can address it.

Data Retention and Deletion

Progress saved on your device stays there until you uninstall the App or clear its data. The cloud copy stays in your Google Play Games account until you delete it there. We do not keep any personal data on servers of our own, as we do not operate any.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
